About Us
I am an individual born of my experiences. I’ve found a way to combine some of my favorite childhood memories to create art that I love. Both my grandmother and my great grandmother were seamstresses, so some of my earliest memories are of sitting with jars of buttons and beads spread around me, playing and combining colors that I liked. Simon and Ruby, my jewelry line, was born in 2008 in response to my burning desire to create a tangible, wearable piece of art.
Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted and designed with a story in mind. My designs are influenced heavily by my travels as well as characters in the books I read and movies I watch. I collect semi precious stones, glass, and vintage pieces from all over the world to create not only a beautiful piece of jewelry, but an intriguing story as well. I hope you love this collection as much as I do!

I absolutely love coffee and pie. Right now, I drink my coffee and eat my pie in Nashville, TN. But honestly, I'd probably go anywhere you can find those two things. I design jewelry for Simon and Ruby, my travel inspired jewelry line, take photos whenever I can (mostly portraits and live rock shows which can be found at www.lindsayfarrer.com), and am an avid bibliophile.
